Anthrax (Inhalation)

Typical findings of inhalation anthrax on chest x-ray include a widened mediastinum caused by hemorrhagic necrotizing mediastinal lymphadenitis and bilateral pleural effusions. Pneumonic infiltrates are uncommon.
